Act fast

Make decisions rapidly, execute on them even faster. Consensus building and design by committee lead to stagnation and death.

Own without limits

The breadth of problems we are tackling is extremely ambitious. This means everyone needs to have a keen understanding of the overall company goals, the customer needs, and act on the most important thing at any point. This also means people are not restricted by role and title, but need to be laser focused on doing the right thing. If you see something that needs to change, manifest it.

Communicate effectively

Communication is key to keeping the entire company well-oiled and efficient. This manifests in every interaction - in how we keep discussions to open channels by default, having meetings with clear objectives and sufficient preparation. Document everything, in-place. Documentation is a part of the product, as core as UX or reliability.

There is no such thing as overcommunication.

Do the right thing

Users choose to trust Argonaut with the core of their company. We work towards maintaining that trust above all else. The nature of software infrastructure means that every decision we take has long term implications for our users. Whenever there is a choice between doing what is easy and what is right, always do the right thing. This applies not only to our customers, but also to how we work with each other as a team and our partners.
